Parke State School is located in a picturesque rural setting approximately 9kms from the town centre. There is one double teaching classroom block, one demountable classroom, a computer lab/library block and an original weatherboard building that has been converted to the main Administrative Centre.
Each of the classrooms are air-conditioned and have an Interactive Whiteboard. The school P&C Association have also supplied a refrigerator for each classroom so that students can store their lunches safely.
A large oval is located at the front of the school grounds. Other facilities include a multi-purpose court space, undercover play area and a playground.
Throughout the year the school often has visits from the local koala population.
