Parke State School is
a P-6 school administered as part of the North Coast Education Region. We are
located on the south-side of Maryborough and are part of the Fraser Coast Regional
Council. Parke State School is a caring and innovative school with a present
enrolment of approximately 60 students.
A culture that
promotes learning
The school is driven by a deep belief that
every student is capable of successful learning. A high priority is given to
building and maintaining positive and caring relationships between staff,
students and parents. There is a strong collegial culture of mutual trust and
support among teachers and school leaders. The school works to maintain a
learning environment that is safe, respectful, tolerant, and inclusive and that
promotes intellectual rigor.
The school staff has worked hard to establish
a culture of RESPECT within the school that reflects a commitment to successful
and purposeful learning. The school behaviour management policy is aimed at
proactively dealing with student behaviour and positively recognizing
appropriate student behaviour.
